The
fact that it is only a
few more than a decade since ODA is established
is no question.
Nonetheless, it has accomplished various valuable
projects from which the public have benefited
a lot. Among others, it has managed, in the past
10 – 15 years, construction of 99 primary
Schools, 10 health centers, 40 health posts, 35
health stations, 28 veterinary clinics, 600 hand
dug wells, 108 shallow and deep wells, 200 Kms
of rural road and 320 projects with matching funds.
Furthermore it is providing reproductive health
(Family Planning) program in 95 woredas, tutorial
services for grade 10 students in all senior secondary
schools of the region, food security program for
a total of 9111 food insecure households in Jarso
woreda of East Hararghe Zone and relief supplies
in other areas
